Mats are made from durable stain resistant material: carpet + rubber bottom layer, ¼ inch thickness. Hand cutting process is done by templates which made by real cabin sizes.

Admissible gaps between seat bases and thresholds up to ¼ inch is normal and not an issue, it happens because all cabs is different and have inaccuracies somewhere up to ¼ inch on each side.
