Mats are made from durable stain resistant material: carpet + rubber bottom layer, ¼ inch thickness, and finished with high quality sewing edges. Hand cutting process is done by templates which made by real cabin sizes.
Admissible gaps between seat bases and thresholds up to ¼ inch is normal and not an issue, it happens because all cabs is different and have inaccuracies somewhere up to ¼ inch on each side.
